Hiring Scam Statement

December 6, 2022 / Finless News

It has come to our attention that there have been some bad actors using reputable companies’ names, including ours, to solicit personal information as part of a fraudulent hiring scam. Unfortunately, this is out of our control, but we want to make it clear that this behavior is utterly unacceptable.

All of our roles are posted at www.finlessfoods.com/careers and via JazzHR, and any role not posted on either site is not a role we have open. Should you apply for a role and be contacted by an employee of Finless Foods, all of our interviews will be scheduled by someone with a Finless Foods email address (ending in ONLY ‘finlessfoods.com’) and conducted over a video conference call. We never ask you to provide personal information through other means, such as Wire App or social media platforms, as part of our interview or onboarding process.

Finless Foods does not and will not ask you to share any personal information during any stage of the interviewing process. Once at the offer stage, our HR Manager will then proceed with hiring paperwork. We recommend you not share any sensitive information over the phone or by email. Fraudulent hiring scams often also ask for financial information and may ask for “advances.” Finless Foods does not ask for any financial commitment at any stage of the recruitment process.

We have reported and flagged these false job postings when we’ve seen them. We also encourage you to contact your state attorney general’s office to report any potential scams and also recommend you contact the recruiting website and/or social media platform that may have been involved as well to notify them. If you have shared your bank account information with a scammer, please file a police report with your local station.

Finless Foods has no responsibility for fraudulent offers and advises job candidates to follow the guidance provided.

Our official website is www.finlessfoods.com and www.finlessculinary.com (please note, no one will email you from Finless Culinary). Our official social media profiles can be found at LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Similar to last year, Finless participated in CHOW by speaking on panels, attending Congressional meetings, serving our plant-based tuna at the annual CHOW gala, and taking part in the many ocean-related festivities.  But, uniquely, this year we spent our [...]
