As the name suggests, Finless Foods is creating a fish-alternative using technology that grows marine-animal cells as an replacement to traditional fishing and aquatic farming that can have devastating environmental consequences. Backed by Blue Horizon Corporation and Softmatter, Oakland-based Michael Seldon and Brian Wyrwas are bringing the fresh, sustainable seafood to market at an affordable price.
